The Apprentice Program
Our apprentice program at Salvaged Roots is designed for those serious about building a career in natural hair care. The program is typically around one year, but we don’t rush growth because everyone learns at their own pace. Apprentices are paid hourly while they train, so you can focus on developing your skills in a supportive, real salon environment.
Throughout the program, you will work alongside experienced stylists and gain hands-on experience with services like shampooing, blow drying, silk presses, twists, braids, loc maintenance, and scalp treatments. Beyond technique, you will learn client care and how to build a sustainable career behind the chair.
